Let's play some games I used monopoly to demonstrate social stratification- how can/do you use monopoly in your classroom? The game of risk is about global domination but lessons are learned about risk reward and creating alliances or coalitions to name a few.- how can you use risk or the learning outcomes to create a pirate lesson in your class? The game of life is about choices- career family-fun- I created a Life activity where students had to find a job housing transportation etc. then life events happened and they had to decide what to do- how can you use this choice consequence/ decision making lesson in your class? Baseball is our national pastime. I used to use it as a review game on the smart board including a scoreboard and videos of grand slams! How can you use sports activities in your classroom? What are the benefits of games to learning? How do you use games in your classroom? Movement is important to learning. It stimulates the brain and helps us refocus.
